I specialize in
the design of small medical devices, consumer products,
mechanisms and inspection fixtures. My expertise is
derived from many years of experience in precision machining,
prototyping, mold making, production, and injection
molding.
I use SolidWorks
Premium CAD for design, as well as KeyShot
for photo-imaging, as well as FilterForge and Photoshop
software for post-processing, running on two custom
Datel Systems high-end workstations. This capability
allows me to fully utilize the rendering software, as
well as produce rapid prototypes and CNS machining,
drawing upon a short list of approved outside vendors.
I am honored to
be a multiple award winner in the prestigious SolidWorks
International Design Competition for work in Industrial
Archeology, which was featured in the May 2006 issue
of Cadalyst Magazine, and I was named Bunkspeed Featured
Designer of the Month. Other recent feature articles
include a cover story in ASME's Mechanical Engineering
Magazine and the March 2010 issue of Design World.
