DSP&P “Tiffany” Reefer

Denver, South Park and Pacific Railroad narrow gauge (36”) Refrigerator Car, or “Reefer”, used to transport meats, fresh produce and other perishables. Many were built between 1879 and 1886 for use in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, USA. The Tiffany style and lettering was the most popular. It is believed they were painted white, and some historians believe they were also painted a light buttercup yellow.
